Maintenance Plan: BC Minimum Wage Update - 20230601

Important Note

The following process affects payroll - and - scheduling!

Please pay close attention to the instructions laid out below to avoid any problems.
The minimum wage update for both liquor and non-liquor server wages at $16.75 / hour.

Step 1 - Post Payroll - June 1, 2023

Organizations with BC locations must have all payroll shifts up to May 31, 2023, posted before 11a on June 1, 2023.

Step 2 - BC Minimum Wage Update - June 1, 2023

Big Chip will cut off access at 11a.
Big Chip Lab will deploy the wage update.
Big Chip will return access at 12p.

Step 3 - Review

Review all of your employees' rates - we try to catch everyone - but - if anyone was missed, please let us know.
Please pay special attention to employees with custom rates (employees with $0.00/h rates).
