System Requirements and Operations Journal Compatibility ≡
Important Note
The Operations Journal requires the following for a Windows PC / workstation:
- Constantly powered.
- Does not enter Sleep Mode.
- Connected to the internet.
- Has Microsoft Excel 2013 or above installed and activated.
| Not Supported | Reason |
|---|---|
| POS Server | At times the PC will need to be re-booted. Having the POS server as the home for our Operations Journal means we can not trouble shoot during service / open times. |
| Mac OS | The operating system does not allow for some of the more complicated formulas written in Excel. |
| Desktop Sync | Any type of Dropbox / OneDrive / Google Backup or other data transfer solution, as they will create FAKE paths that will corrupt Excel calculations. |
