How to: Enable Excel Report Compatibility ≡

Important Note

  • Excel’s default setting is to disable all macros with a notification. 
  • The Operations Journal heavily relies on external content so click the Enable Content button.

Permanently Enable Content

  1. Open the Excel file
  2. Click the File tab in the ribbon
  3. Click the Options in the navigation menu
  4. Click the Trust Center tab
  5. Click the Trust Center Settings button
  6. Click the External Content in the navigation menu
  7. Select the Enable all Data Connections (not recommended) option under Security settings for Data Connections
  8. Select the Enable automatic update for all Workbook Links (not recommended) option under Security setting for Workbook Links
  9. Finish be clicking the OK button
